3D real-time visualisation for architecture - Example 4The main objective of this 3D real-time visualisation was the realistic display of the new show rooms at the Daimler-Chrysler dealership Dortmund. The sections show showrooms as well as first drafts for a cafeteria and a small movie theatre in the entrance area which can either show small promotional clips and spots or live broadcasts at house events. During the presentation of the 3D real-time visualisation choices can be made via keyboard amongst the single office outfits. The luminous intensity of the sales room was realistically simulated through lighting and shadow calculations. The 3D real-time visualisation was successfully presented to the staff and management by means of a stereo wide screen projection.
