3D real-time visualisation within plant design - example 1The depicted project was a virtual power plant prototype incorporating real geographic data. It was hence possible to integrate the power plant into the envisaged environment within the real-time visualisation. Through animations and real film clips it was possible to simulate the single walk- and driving routes i.e. for a fork lift for further assessment and control. The power plant and its interior layout with respect to the different piping systems, containers etc. was created through the import of the existing CAD data into the awaron software. The real-time visualisation was finally presented on a stereo wide screen projection in front of the client and their decision makers and also successfully used at a later stage for marketing purposes.
